The add-on "Koeblitzer Mountain Route" is a continued development of the freeware route Altenburg-Wildau by the Dutch developer Siegfried Derks, aka SAD. Geographically it is situated somewhere in the region of Trier, Germany. It has taken the developer two years to build this imaginary route which gives the impression to be a real-life scenery in the middle of Germany.
More than 150 years after its opening the "Anhalt Railway" presents itself as a modern traffic carrier with travelling speeds up to 200 km/h. Despite all modernity, traces of the past are obvious left and right of the tracks such as signal boxes, station buildings, old locomotive depots. We tried to capture this atmosphere in the add-on Berlin-Wittenberg.
Discover the approx. 195 km of electrified main line from Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Leipzig Hauptbahnhof. We have also included the branch to the new airport of Berlin-Brandenburg. Sadly this airport has not been opened yet in the real world. Adding to that is a stretch of 18 km of the Berlin S-Bahn including original AI trains and rolling stock as well as parts of the Leipzig Tram network, again with original AI trains and rolling stock.
The Fernbus Coach Simulator is the first simulation of the now very popular intercity buses. Thanks to the cooperation with FlixBus the Fernbus Coach simulator shows the world of a large coaches` driver on the German Autobahn and major roads in great detail.
